Brace yourself...
I feel this could be the beginning of the end for one of both mine and all of my friends favourite drinks.... Mickey Finn's spiked sour drink thing... I was checking out the website (hoping to get a nice picture of the beautiful green-ness) when i happened upon this label...
"The UK Portman Group have advised Mickey Finn not to continue the idea of Spiking flavours with other flavours or alcohol as this may lead to a negative association. BABCO Europe limited the brand owners of Mickey Finn’s have received advice and revised labels that fully adhere to the Portman Group code of practice will be introduced shortly. The website will be adapted in due course."
This is a disaster.
This drink is spiked with apple flavouring. Which is what makes it so nice.... Without the apple, its just drinking to get drunk. *cough* vodka or tequila *cough*
This will not go unpunished.
In other news, this post is taking me three times as long to type, due to the fact that my 17 year old cat has decided that it's latest favourite place to sleep is, infact, on the computer desk.
That's where the mouse normally sits (no puns please), and he dangles his paws/tail onto the keyboard, where my fingers are furiously typing away.
In days past, i probably would have moved the little ginger tiger. But tom is getting very old indeed. He's well over 100 in cat years. He is very nearly deaf (which makes him meow louder...) and he farts all the time. But we all love him. I actually can't remember a time at home without him. He's the oldest pet we have, even the dog we used to have didnt last as long as him.
This cat is actually a living legend. He has never hurt anyone. Ever. He could never even catch birds or anything. (the gingerness stood out in the grass, even when he did that I'm-tucking-my-ears-in-and-lying-low-so-you-can't-see-me thing).
We're not sure how long ol' tom has left, but we know that he's just running on love now. (love and 6 meals a day. He forgets that he's eaten (senility) and meows constantly for more.)
Also, all you people who say that milk is bad for cats (stratton), can go cram it with walnuts.
Tom's still here after 17 years of drinking nothing but milk. (except for really hot days).
Thats it really. I'll try and find something more interesting sometime later this week. I dont think you guys wanna hear be bitch about work do you? or do you? Comments please!
Keep it safe,

"Tom and floppy" Floppy is my younger brothers bed time toy thing.

Hell, blogs were essentially created to bitch about work. Do it, do it I say.
That cat is also suspiciously old...perhaps he is some kind of kitty messiah?
And yes, honey is a good idea. Worryingly I'm considering trying it. Hey, what could possibly go wrong?
Surprisingly, even I think Tom is cute. Although I am suspicious. Have you read Harry Potter? Maybe its like Ron's rat!!
Mr J, I'm beginning to think that your blog has far, far too many Harry Potter analogies on it. I think you should ban their future usage. Immediately. I suggest turning this blog into MOFOBAHAPOAWEBAOFOIC H.Q. (the catchiest name I could think of)or the "Movement for the Banning of Harry Potter Analogies on Websites, Blogs and other forms of Internet Communication"
Of course, she could be right, but unless either of you can somehow prove that he can transform into a strange man who betrayed any wizard-friend parents you may happen to have...
...actually, considering you said it's a love-powered cat, this may not be so unreasonable.
I really should learn to be more concise...
Also, you request we make no puns at yet YOU HAVE A CAT CALLED TOM.
ash cat is the farkin nuts mate
Heh yeah, everyone loves the ash cat.
I'm interested as to what other Harry potter references there are...
apart from the back that i have black hair
and glasses
and my computer is in a cuboard inder the stairs. (honestly!)
